Tell us about yourself and your experience.

I have joined WeConnect Energy as the new Customer Relations Officer based in Abu Dhabi. I've been working in the Middle East for almost nine years and have learned Arabic along the way. I'm a family-centred man, and a loyal and hardworking team leader. My background is varied, I have a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management and I have worked in the hospitality industry as a restaurant operations manager. I was then an Assistant Public Relations Officer (PRO), but during the pandemic things were difficult, and I accepted a new challenge to become a private driver of a local family. I always like to try something new. I am flexible in terms of work, but office environment is truly my passion.

What's a typical day like for you at WeConnect Energy?

On a typical day at WeConnect Energy, I'm quite busy but always excited and eager to accomplish the work to be done. I love people, we all have our own amazing qualities, and I am so glad to meet and accompany them. Giving them satisfaction beyond their expectation is my pleasure.

How have your first few weeks been?

My first few weeks have been challenging for me to adjust to. It was incredibly busy with clients' mobilizations and organizing my workplace at the same time, but I've managed to get all my work done gladly and I am still feeling thankful for this opportunity.

What are you enjoying most about your job so far?

I am truly enjoying my job so far because I don't feel that I am just working in a company but more like I am doing my part in the family. WeConnect Energy is a great family and I am so thankful for them adopting me in!

What's the best piece of advice you've received and would pass on?

The best piece of advice I would pass on is to always strive for something new. The world is a wonderful place to explore. Knowledge is power.

What do you get up to when you're not working?

I am an athlete! Keeping myself mentally and physically fit are the things I get up to when I’m not working.
