Construction Site Manager - CCS

WeConnect Energy is currently recruiting for a Site Construction Manager (CCS focused) to support an international energy company based in Scotland.

Purpose of Role:

This role is responsible for construction contractor selection, construction completion and delivery of a CCS project steel jacket and topsides. The role will initially be located within the UK and involve bid preparation and evaluation leading to construction contractor selection. Following contractor selection, the role will relocate to a European construction site and be responsible for Company site team and construction contractor site management leading to sail-away of jacket and topsides.

Critical Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner, complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation, and Company HSES Procedures.

Areas of Accountability:
• Preparation of relevant input to jacket and topsides construction bid package.
• Participation in bid evaluation and recommendation of preferred construction contractor and fabrication yard
• Construction contract Owner requiring management, monitoring, reporting and verifying construction progress against plan, and ensuring contract deliverables and requirements are met.
• Delivery of jacket and topsides ready for sail-away to T&I contractor
