Subsurface Global rebrands to WeConnect Energy

Subsurface Global is excited to announce that we are rebranding to WeConnect Energy from September 27th, 2023.

This strategic move reflects the company's commitment to servicing the evolving needs of its current customer base, expanding and diversifying across Upstream, Corporate, Low Carbon and New Energy markets. The decision to undergo this significant transformation highlights WeConnect Energy’s aim to enhance its services and broaden its global reach. This evolution will expand our company’s foundational expertise in subsurface and drilling, while paving the way to venture further into wider energy sectors, specialising at senior technical, corporate and executive levels.

From our Scottish headquarters in Edinburgh, WeConnect Energy aspires to be one of the top global energy recruitment specialists. Our ambitions involve tripling both our Edinburgh and Abu Dhabi headcount within the next three years, creating a world-class graduate programme, and expanding our global reach into the US and Asian markets.

Subsurface Global, which celebrated its 15th anniversary in August, was proudly part of Scale-up Scotland 2.0, a programme designed to provide strategic support to high-growth companies with the potential to achieve over £100 million turnover. WeConnect Energy is delighted to continue on this journey with Scale-up Scotland, and to be an active member of this programme going forward.

On a final note, this rebrand will not affect the way WeConnect Energy operates and, of course, our commitment to delivering exceptional service remains unchanged.
